New grant opportunity for land trusts
The Land Trust Alliance is partnering with AARP to offer a special funding opportunity for Alliance Members. Through the Mayoral Outreach & Livable Communities program, special Community Challenge grants are now available. These small grants — averaging $10,000 each and ranging from $400 at the low end to $40,000 at the high end — are intended to improve communities with small but engaging and tangible projects; jumpstart progress for longer-term change; and demonstrate improvements that benefit all ages.
